WHO IS A PERSON/EXPERT ON YOUR FIELD THAT YOU ADMIRE?

Hello! Today I am going to talk to you about a person from my field whom I praise a lot, his name is Álvaro Ramírez Alujas. I admire him, because he was my teacher in the Public Administration career and for the various things he has done for the improvement and development of public administration both in Chile and in other countries.

He is an international expert in Open Government, Innovation and Public Management. His studies have been master’s in government and Public Administration (Diploma of Advanced Studies of Third Cycle - DEA); in addition to having a master's degree in Management and Public Policies; Doctor in Political Science and Sociology, Mention in Government and Public Administration; and be a Public Administrator and Graduate in Political and Administrative Sciences.

Among the great things they have done are the founder, principal investigator, and coordinator of the Public Administration area of ​​the Research Group on Government, Administration and Public Policies; Likewise, he is president of the Multitudes Foundation and senior advisor to the Open Government Scholarship Program of the Organization of American States. Thus, he has also served as a consultant in open government and public management and advisor to various Ibero-American governments and international organizations.
